A view looking out from the top floor of the six story concrete structure. Out toward the horizon, a tall water tower can be seen next to a large white building. This building was another massive complex of industrial structures known as the Mack Trucks Plant / Factory and together with the separate Allentown Metal Works factory, formed a huge industrial complex of mill buildings. Many of the original Mack Trucks factory buildings are still standing today, however they are no longer used to manufacture trucks. Within the historic aerial photo posted below, the Allentown Metal Works complex can be seen within the lower left of the image and the Mack Trucks Factory buildings are the remainder of the structures. At one point in time, even the Allentown Metal Works complex was being utilized to manufacture Mack trucks.
