The Radiation Technology, Inc property is currently classified by the Environmental Protection Agency as a superfund site. Dozens of barrels full with volatile organic compounds had been unlawfully buried under the ground by Radiation Technology, Inc. Tests for chemical seepage into the local air, water, and soil have proved positive. The remaining barrels are currently being excavated and removed as well as the environment being cleaned.
